Blue Grass MOTORSPORT partners with the Kentucky Region of the Porsche Club of America (KYPCA) to host Driver Education Events at the Putnam Park Road Course in Mount Meridian, IN. Utilizing a team of PCA certified driving instructors, attendees learn about the performance capabilities of Porsche sports cars in a safe and controlled track environment. Novice drivers begin Saturday and Sunday with classroom sessions to help you to become familiar with track etiquette, terminology and track schedule. Our instructors want every Porsche owner to experience for themselves the capabilities of Porsche automobiles. You will spend the day driving with a PCA Driving Instructor sitting right beside you – sharing their experience, and delivering feedback on how you can improve your performance driving skills.
Putnam Park is a 1.8 mile long, ten turn road course with an excellent layout. It is a favorite of professional racing teams doing their testing and club racers alike. Because the track is relatively flat, has high visibility and plenty of grassy runoff areas, it is a great track to begin your high performance driving experience.
You have probably heard a PCA member say – “ It’s not just the cars, it’s the people”. We couldn’t agree more. All our Driver Education Events begin with social events such as dinner and drinks on Friday and Saturday evenings at the host hotel – typically from 6-10 pm. Weather permitting, the party is held on the patio where we encourage you to meet and mingle with your fellow participants.
