The 2020 Porsche Panamera is everything you didn’t even know you wanted in a luxury sedan, or maybe didn’t even know you needed. Sportscar handling in a 4,000 lb full-size sedan, Burmester Audio System and Plug-in Hybrid — The Porsche Panamera was the first to deliver these qualities in a luxury sedan. For 2020 it continues to redefine the segment. What’s new for 2020

Only a handful of changes have been made to the Porsche Panamera for 2020. To recognize 10 years of success, drivers can equip their Panamera with a special 10 Year Edition package which includes exclusive 21-inch wheels painted in White Gold Metallic, unique badging inside and out, and White Gold accent seat stitching. Additional changes include the discontinuation of Sapphire Blue Metallic as an exterior color option. New color options available this year are Papaya Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic.

Tremendous power

Without a doubt, Porsche spoils you with engines in the Panamera lineup. It begins with the base model that is powered by a 3.0-liter turbo V6 that pumps out 330 horsepower and has 331 lb-ft of torque. The “S” models add a turbocharged 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that pumps out 550 horsepower and has 576 lb-ft of torque.

The Panamera E-Hybrid versions add horsepower and torque from an electric motor producing an additional 136 horsepower and 295 lf-ft of torque to either the base 3.0-liter V6 engine or, in the case of the Panamera Turbo S E Hybrid, adding that additional power and torque to the same twin-turbo V8 found in the Panamera Turbo S. Increasing the total horsepower to a heart-pumping 680 horsepower.

Ingenious interior

The Panamera is sporty for an outing at the racetrack, but comfortable for a long road trip in a party of four. Its ingenious features are centered on the driver and on performance, but doesn’t forget about the wellbeing of passengers. The Porsche Communication Management includes a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen display and is your central control for audio, navigation and communication. Porsche Connect maximizes your connectivity by offering access to your favorite smartphone apps and allows you to set up navigation from your phone to the in-car display.

Passengers will enjoy a cinematic experience in the second row, thanks to the Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment that provides two 10-inch touchscreen displays and connection to Porsche Management Communication.
